Celestial Luminary Site FAQ

saturn

This is a list of the *typical* questions that we get. All who have not read this section and e-mail Hitsuji will be sent here if it pertains to the site.

Dear Naoko, (If your there)

HI!!!!!!!!!!! You probably don't know me. I am one of your bggest fans. If you really are Naoko Takeuchi, please write back. If there is a picture on this e-mail, ignore it.

Neither Mako-chan or Hitsuji are Takeuchi-sensei. I am rather surprised that anyone would think so. However, since it comes up regularly, I am prepared to address it.

Takeuchi-sensei is Japanese. Hitsuji not Japanese. Mako-chan is not Japanese. That's the end of the story.

Dear Takeuchi-sensei,

Bring Back Sailormoon!

This kind of mail is very amazing to me. First of all, I state about 5 or 6 times that I'm not Takeuchi-sensei. As you are finding our e-mail addresses you will find out on the main page, it says it's unofficial in the title bar. Then it says it again in the bright red letters and gives her official site, which is in JAPANESE. Then you go to the address page, and it clearly states that it is run by fans. Then it states a bunch of rules, which these people ALWAYS break. Then you have to enter a contract stating that you read the rules. Then on the page with the addresses, it states, yet again, that I will not be giving the e-maill address of Takeuchi-sensei on that page, and gives a link. Then it states my name. Then next to my name you have webmistress and my duties. Then when you click on my e-mail address, you get: Hitsuji Kinno (not Takeuchi-sensei) <e-mail>. With that ALL in there, I still get this stupidity. (plus they write it in English, when Takeuchi-sensei only knows Ja-panese at last report)

Just for your education, Toei, and the powers of the US are responsible for the broadcasting of Sailormoon. Takeuchi Naoko-sensei has NOTHING to do with it.

The only reason it stopped broadcasting was that there were NO ratings for sailormoon AND it came out on DVD.

If you want to support Sailormoon, buy the DVD.. and then you can watch it ANY TIME YOU WANT! Go on.. buy the sucker, it's only 100 bucks... or for some of you 20 weeks of allowance.

As for the Sailor Stars season, it has ISSUES. Toei won't release it, and unless your japanese is good, they won't listen to a bunch of bad-english-writing teenagers. It goes double for the fact that you are dangling money in front of them, (say a million or so) and that you are not Japanese, nor intend to speak Japanese. Secondly, if it did air on TV, then it would be cut to shreds with the issues it would create. Until we get over gay marriage as an issue, there are big doubts that anime will ever air again (at this rate). If you want it on DVD, (which has a far better chance), then your best bet is ADV or Geneon, HOWEVER as I said Toei freezed up the property since they are selling ALL of the DVDs in Japan. All American DVDs are cheaper than Japanese ones, so it will probably be another 5 - 10 years before you will ever see Sailor Stars.

All of this info renders this question/ request completely useless, so don't even waste your brain power on it. Buy the thing in Japanese raw instead. I'm intending on getting it through LDs.

When will you update?

I, Hitsuji, do small updates all the time. The thing is that I don't always update the updates page to reflect it. Either they are too small for anyone to notice, so I don't bother, or I'm too busy to update the updates page as well.

One of the links seems to be broken.

A lot of people don't know what a link is. If you think a link is any piece of text up on your screen, you are sadly mistaken.

A link is ONLY broken if it brings you to an error page. So please keep that in mind. If the link IS broken, please state the complete URL of the page and I'll try to fix it.

Why aren't the links linked?

Mako-chan and I are busy. Mako-chan is an active student in a College, and I am a working girl with a boyfriend. I don't have internet at this moment, and I barely have any time to fill out the links I want to do. They will get done, but I'm so meticulous and slow, that it's impossible to get them up in a timely fashion. In another words: Be patient.

Some information is wrong!

Tell me where it is. Then tell what your correction is. If it is a matter of really garishly bad information, then I'll fix it ASAP. If not, you will have to wait until I verify it, and come back with a report.
