L-L-L-L-LOVE LETTER?! Ahh, Ami-chan. Ami-chan, while shy, is the senshi who appears to have a pretty good grip on things. She's responsible, hard working, smart, and demure, just as any Japanese girl should be. Beneath her cool exterior, though, Ami-chan has a problem with romance, specifically, she has a problem with love letters! She is so bothered by them she has a physical reaction to it-- first comes blushing, then comes hives.In the anime, Ami is romantically linked to Urawa, (known as "Greg" in the North American dub) one of the holders of the seven nijizuishou (rainbow crystals). In the manga, Ami occasionally will pine thoughtfully for a guy but is not quite so boy-obsessed as the other girls. The love letter incident occurs in both the manga side-story for Ami's exam battle, and in a half hour special in the Anime (it is intended as a 'side story' in both versions). Ami says in it that her dream man would be someone like "a young Einstien". (But hopefully he won't be giving her any love letters!)
