Little Layout Changes, Music Section Up

Lately I haven't been updating as much, so I apologize. There's been a lot going on in my personal life lately that has been getting my attention. Since I'm not sure when I'll have the time to finish this project, I decided to stop being selfish hoarding it and to make available the chunk of the music section that I've completed. I'll probably get a song down now and then but I don't imagine (with the stuff I'm dealing with) I'll sit down for a large chunk of time and just complete it in one shot, like I originally intended. So what I've completed, about 1/3 of it, is up to look at. I'll try to work on it soon.

Because it's a large section to be updated (even unfinished it is large) there may be errors in it. If there are, please reply to this post and let me know about anything you stumble across. I'd be really grateful.

Other than that, I tweaked the layout so it's a bit smaller (on my resolution that means it doesn't scroll at all anymore) but still retains the same links. All the headers have been changed a bit, too. I especially like the animated one in the arcade section of the site. Though I've updated the layout a little, the tweak wasn't big enough for me to call it a full on layout update. So there you go.

I'm not sure when I'll get a chance to work on this site for a devoted period of time again, or when I'll even have the ambition to do so. That isn't to say I've given up or quit (I'm far too stubborn for that, and look at all the unfinished sections! ^_^) but I'm not sure when the next *major* update will occur, so bear with me.

New Shrine Layout

I created a new layout for Michiru's shrine. I also recovered the last layout for Rei's Shrine.

I'll try to get the rest done ASAP, but I've been pretty swamped at work lately (which is why it's been somewhat slow going...) Hopefully that won't be an issue too much longer.

I completed two today. I'm not sure how quickly I can get the rest done, but it's my top priority right now so hopefully soon (and hopefully I don't get totally burned out... >_>).

The ones I completed are Chibiusa's and Makoto's.

New Layout (6/16/09)

The whole site has been given a fresh look. It's all in blue now so that I can more easily cross-reference everything. So that's my next project- linking up the stuff that can be linked from one section to the other. This should make the site more user-friendly.

I've checked it already once for any errors and haven't found anything that isn't loaded yet, but if you find anything please let me know via email (or just respond to this post).

New PGSM Summary, minor design correction 5/6/09

I recently noticed that the links in the PGSM section's design were flawed (not matching up with the rest of the site) so I corrected the css file and the html so it looks a bit more coherent.

Also, the complete episode summary is up for Act 43 now. It isn't a main act, and really isn't super-important to the storyline, but I wanted to watch it again and thought I'd better get some work done if I was going to. It's one of my favorite episodes of the series, it's very angst-ridden and romantic, too... but not super-important to the series and could honestly be skipped if you just wanted the meat of the story... oh well.

Major Website Updates

It was time to clean house. ^_^; So if you came to the site an hour ago and it was down, I'm sorry. It was a bigger update than usual this time (as you can probably tell. Just about everything is different!) so it took much longer to actually upload it than normal. ^_^; Gomen.

Okay, things that are updated:
1. Layouts. Well, obviously... *^_^* The main layout is completely different, but so are the layouts for the major sections- anime cluster, manga cluster, guardian star, musical star, and video games... all of those are brand new and made specifically to blend in with the rest of the site while retaining their own identity. More importantly, unncessary layouts have been cut out to make this all much more stream-lined and user friendly.

2. Stardust Magic. This section has significantly more images than before and now contains information on the PGSM side of the series as well. It is much better rounded, and I'm working on getting the few kinks left worked out ASAP.

3. Character Profiles. Goodness, this was a lot of work and I never did complete it... but it is significantly further along than before. The more subjective information I am leaving for Hitsuji's expertise, but certain things are fairly simple to look up in the anime or manga or to add into these. They are more complete than before and I have added a few bits of information that may be useful.

4. Musical Star. Well, not only is this site actually up period, it actually does have a bit of information available thusfar for you to enjoy. It is, like the rest of a site, a work in progress, but a decent dent is made out of it.

5. Gem Information. This section is about halfway completed with basic information. More will be coming soon.

Of course, all these things are bits and pieces of a major update, and there really is probably more out there but I think that's enough specifics. I'll be patroling the website for broken links for the next few hours, so if you find something don't report it until tomorrow (and then please double check to make sure it is still broken... -_-;) Now that the bulk of the site is up I can get started on more of the stuff that is needed. I'm hopeful that within about 5 years from now the site will be completed as far as the stuff that we have envisioned from the beginning being up. Hitsuji informed me that she has successfully gained some exclusive Takeuchi-related photos in Japan, and those will be up soon, too.

Sorry it took so long to get this up, and I hope it was well worth the wait. ^_^
