Welcome

The Sailormoon Musicals were live shows that were performed in Japan from 1993 - 2005. The shows gave the audience the fun of a familiar story line plus the songs and dances of musical theatre.

The Sailormoon Musicals have been a large source of the Sailormoon Fanbase since their debut and even moreso after the Sailormoon anime and manga had both been finished. They had been a place for fans to unite, revisit their favorite characters and even see new original storylines. The musicals stopped in 2005, likely due to lack of interest and were not even written down as off- just "on hiatus". Will they ever come back? Will there be a Sailormoon Musical revival show? ^_^ Only time will tell.

The musical shows are more commonly known as "SeraMyu", short for the Japanese pronunciation of Sailor Musicals -- Se-ra-Myu-sic-cars, thus SeraMyu.

Layout and Content are both, for now, created by Mako-chan. ^_^

Notations on this section of the site:
This effort was certainly not single-handed and there is still a lot of ground to cover. However, I have to note credit where it is due:

A lot of information regarding the cast was found at Eternal.Legend. The cast information's start was from this site and then I branched out searching on my own for more information to supplement in. However, as far as sites go about the musicals and their cast and crew, this one is the best around. There is certainly more in-depth information about the shows on that site than there is here.

Images are often from SeraMyu Antics. This site is also awesome for anyone looking for SeraMyu information and a lot of the shows are also available for download here.

Summaries about the shows are taken directly from my own experience watching them. However, major credit is due to Cruel Angel Productions for providing the subtitles so that I could actually understand them. ^_^

The site is not complete right now, but stuff will come up when I have seen more of the musicals (there are quite a few, long musicals out there and I haven't seen them all). The cast information is a large project and only a few pages of it are up as of this moment, but I am working on it, rest assured. ^_^
