WARNING: This is entirely silly and insane. Do not take this too seriously!

I figured it was about time we spread the word about odango. Sometimes looking like an anime/ manga character is not enough insentive! So I came up with a list of reasons as to why you should seriously consider this new trend.

Note: If anyone wants to make silly black and white cartoons for this page, go ahead and tell me about it. We'll arrange something.

1. In the winter when it's cold, snowing, and windy. It can be a problem if your hood is loose. Just put them up in odango and the hood will stay in place! (Usagi's recommended) (I've actually done this one.. ^^;;)

2. If the hair keeps getting in the way of the jacket zipper and you find it a pain to put it in a low ponytail, then put them up in odango and they will never get caught on the zipper, even with the ponytails that may come from the bun. (any high positioned odango)

3. In the summer when it's hot, put them up in odango. It's stylish and it will keep the hair off of your neck, even when you have ponytails to worry about. (any high postioned odango)

4. When you are biking you can put them in odango atama (Tenchi's aunt) and not only do you get the hair off of your neck and it's cute, but you also have something to soak up the sweat on the back of your neck. (the cloth part) (Don't forget about hygene!) (also won't get in the way of the helmet you SHOULD be wearing)

5. When you are taking a bath, and you already washed your hair that day, but don't want to get it wet, put it into odango. (see Usagi's)

6. When you are swimming and the scrunchie keeps coming off, put them up in odango, and not only will you look cute, but they will stay in better than a ponytail. (any odango with no hair loose)

7. When you are taking a shower, and you don't want your hair to get wet, but it won't stay, odango-atama are your answer! Just put them under a shower cap.

8. For a formal occasion where you know everyone is going to have a boring hair style, but you want to party afterwards, odango! They are versatile, and it means that you can make them seem fancy or not.

9. When you or a friend is feeling down, put your hair into odango and make an idiot of yourself shouting lines from the anime or manga. (any will do, expecially works wfi a male participant is either watching, or is the victum of wearing the odango)

10. When you are stuck babysitting, and a bunch of girls are jumping all over you, and they love Sailor Moon, promise to give them each a different odango-atama hair style. (see Odango list) That should shut up the little brats. (jking!) (plus you can have the satisfaction of tugging their hair ^.~)

11. You want to have a good excuse to bug your little brother, but can't find a good reason? Odango! Simply choose one of the flakier odango-atama, and then scream that you are possessed and cry a lot. (Usagi or Shampoo would be best) It might get you in a mental hospital, but hey, at least you torchured your little brother and who knows you might be out in a few years. (After you convince the psychiatrist to love odango and get her hooked to Sailor Moon and other anime.)

12. Your friends don't want to talk about Sailor Moon anymore and you can't seem to bring up the subject.. odango! Simply put them up in the hair style and when they say it's cute, you say they are andd slowly work towards talking about Sailor Moon. It might get your friends mad, and maybe a black eye, but hey, at least you got to talk about Sailor Moon.

13. When you want to attract guys at a convention.. wear odango! They will instantly drool.. wait maybe that's the fact that your skirt is higher than mid-thigh.. but you will at least look cute.

14. "I am in the band at my highschool.I have long hair (and I am male), which I need to put under my hat when when I march. I used to put my hair in a ponytail and then fold it up into the hat. That was a problem however because it would occasionally fall out of the hat! Now I put my hair into the odango (Usagi) when I march. It NEVER falls out!"-Turismotc3
