Welcome to the section dedicated to Sailor Moon on Takeuchi-naoko.com--Celestial Luminary. The site has major sections- for the manga, anime, musicals, live action, and video game sections of this site as well.
This site is constantly under construction so please check back to see what's new.

I also combed through the fan shrines. There might be a few broken links left, but I won’t know until next month.
And Prophilia took a leap forward. I’m looking forward to putting a version on all of the websites. I’ve had the idea before PHP existed! Sad, but true.]]>
On the upside, I’m fairly close to making a character profile manager. I just need to fix a few of the query issues and then I should be able to get it working on the front end and then streamline the back end–at least I hope.
Thanks to everyone that has helped thus far with this ridiculously long project. I’m planning to release it also as “Prophilia.” so other people can use it for their character profiles. Maybe a real programmer could streamline it.]]>
Now instead of having to change multiple pages, all we have to do is change a few banners and .css to make the site look completely different.
I also added some galleries for the images, and the fan fiction section is linked up.
Navigation should be streamlined. I’m hoping to find someone to look at our Character Profile Back end so I can figure out what we’re missing so I can skin that puppy and get it up and going.
I didn’t get to the Sailor Myu section yet, but I hope to get that done soon.
And surprise, but we’re on wordpress now. No spam, please.]]>
I transferred the blog to WordPress as well.
Pretty Back End?
I had some family issues, so this might be delayed a little, because my Dad, while he did, technically do most of the back end, kind of forgot to put a front end to the back end. So the back end can do things like pictures, and such, but there is no page that brings it together. =P I’ll ask someone to look at the current code and give me a sense of what’s missing ’cause I honestly have no clue and he didn’t do documentation. If you want to volunteer for no money, I can show the files–though not the actual password to the database, etc. I just need the rest of the front end.
Up and Coming?
I’m working out an encyclopedia that’s been on the back burner for a while.
Makochan is working on a new site design to do .css tables to make for SEO so we float closer to the top.
I’m breaking down and adding a third party gallery software for the image gallery, though I’ll probably end up making a design for it, if Makochan doesn’t.
Feel free to comment on this blog to leave feedback, and yes, we do filter for spam, so no, your ads for big things and enhancers and all of those pill-popping crap won’t make it through. Sorry. Wrong website for that.
Yay for no more shell hacks.]]>
Thanks to my Dad for his patience and help in dcoding these pages. A dream come true after 11+ years of waiting for the Computer tech to catch up to my idea. =P
And thanks to Mako-chan who put up with waiting for 10 years. =P]]>
Because it’s a large section to be updated (even unfinished it is large) there may be errors in it. If there are, please reply to this post and let me know about anything you stumble across. I’d be really grateful.
Other than that, I tweaked the layout so it’s a bit smaller (on my resolution that means it doesn’t scroll at all anymore) but still retains the same links. All the headers have been changed a bit, too. I especially like the animated one in the arcade section of the site. Though I’ve updated the layout a little, the tweak wasn’t big enough for me to call it a full on layout update. So there you go.
I’m not sure when I’ll get a chance to work on this site for a devoted period of time again, or when I’ll even have the ambition to do so. That isn’t to say I’ve given up or quit (I’m far too stubborn for that, and look at all the unfinished sections! ^_^) but I’m not sure when the next *major* update will occur, so bear with me.]]>
SOS on the upside at least had a little clue about how the industry ran. Moon Chase has no idea how the industry runs.
SOS chewed out Takeuchi-sensei, so does Moon Chase (especially with their “neutral” reporting) They are just as uppity about what Takeuchi-sensei should and shouldn’t do to please them around their schedules and how she should conform to their American standards.
They have false reporting on Sailor Moon claiming that Sailor Moon is being redubbed by the Seiyuu in Japan. They don’t read Japanese, but even if you have Rikai-chan or eyes, you can see that news is at least 2 years old if not older. Wait, Didn’t SOS do something similar? If I remember right, I chased their sources to dead ends too.
They claim to know everything that is happening in Japan, but don’t know anyone who lives there nor speaks Japanese, thus much of their reporting on License information is false. They don’t know anything about Japanese culture, but somehow have an idea that they can help make Sailor Moon reappear in the US market once more with a new dub.
Thus, I will call them the new SOS, and I mean every ounce of what that implies. So, Moon Chase, have you thought up a Prince Uranus scheme yet? Or are you going to say Princess Serenity was really Prince Seraphinus in line with the Yaoi trends? How about a Pop Tarts scheme? I know! Chase down Funimation to redub Sailor Moon when you can’t even understand the first thing about licensing a series or how it works. Good job! You are on the way to true success.
Now I should ask, who was so unhappy with reading subtitles, that they want to go through the pain of underpaid Canadian actors and actresses again? Can’t you get the DVD box sets online and watch the entire series online?
I would respect them more if they put the effort into understanding just a little about how this business is run. It’s not that hard to figure out. I figured it out in a space of 6 months of tons of reading. Let’s learn here to not do campaigns blind. Didn’t we get enough of that during SOS? Do we really need another helping?]]>
is false. Toei has no control over Kodansha and this is just a speculation. More like Kodansha has more pull over Toei, from my observations. (That or they are part of a Zaibatsu.)
In any case, PNP owns all rights to the Sailormoon manga and properties. The manga stopped because Tokyopop just did not renew the license (It was not profitable enough.)]]>
