History:
The Stars Manga (for convenience sake)
Smart and intelligent, so much so that she rivals Ami. She came to Earth looking for Kakyuu, and is suspicious of the other Sailors. She doesn't seem to like Usagi at all.
Anime:
Taiki's history is radically different manga to anime. First of all, in the anime, he pulls what I call a reverse Ranma. His true form is that of a girl, but when he came to Earth he took on the form of a boy so he could attract more girls, and find his princess. When I say take on the form of a boy... I mean literally.
Taiki's planet and past are revealed more than in the manga. However, the anime neglected to mention that Taiki had a prince.. so he, or in this case, then she, would not have had a Prince..
Taiki also doesn't belong to the group "Three Lights", he belongs to the, "Starlights" (Which personally I think is lame since they already call themselves the Three Lights. Anyhow, Takeuchi-sensei dislikes that fact too.. so there. ^_^ I can't disagree wit the creator, now can I?
