History:

Yup, she appeared only for Parallel Sailormoon in the back of the Materials Collection, but if you look at her you can see the resemblance to her mother. She does make the funniest face when she's annoyed. That face I've never seen her mother do, nor would I guess she would. Oh, to distinguish between the two Rei's (since we don't have three alphabets), I'll use Rei-sama for the older Rei, and Rei-chan for the younger one.

Her history is basically like this: Her mother is Hino Rei, who kept her maiden name. Her mother and father run a shrine. Her mother teaches calligraphy (no charge?? not clear).. also her father is a teacher (but Rei-sama doesn't like this much). Rei-chan goes to school with the other girls her age too. (Michiru, Haruka and Setsuna run a cooking school) She's still young and in 4th grade. In physical appearance you can't really tell the difference between her and her mother, but her name is spelled differently. Where Rei-sama's name is spelled in katakana, Rei-chan's name is spelled in hiragana. Also you never get to see Rei-sama as young as Rei-chan in the style Takeuchi-sensei used for the years 1999-2000. So the only way you can tell is by the age and the style they are drawn in.

Note: If you call her Chibirei, I'll punish you in the name of Mars, as soon as I figure out how to smack Mars against your cheek. ^.~ After all I just explained her name is spelled different from her mother!

Personality:

Rei-chan tends to be much more sarcastic than her mother. She'll outright ridicule Kousagi and express her dislike. She also doesn't seem to really respect the "Sailor Muscles Meeting"

Why She is So Cool!:
I like all those facial expressions of disgust she makes! Her face is much more expressive than Rei-sama's! ^_^ Even if she doesn't like Kousagi, in this way I forgive her.
