Moon Broach
(Moon Mask)
Japanese: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 27
Re-release: ?
Mixx: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 27
Though these were only worn for only a few acts,, it afforded Sailormoon the ability to see other places where trouble might occur.
(Jewel Odango)
Japanese: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 34
Re-release: Volume 1, Act 1, Page
Mixx: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 34
These were only used as a "magical item" a couple times, once in the first act during Sailormoon's first battle, once again before they fight Metallia when Usagi is battling evil Mamoru. In both cases, Sailormoon is so upset that it emits sound-waves which harm the enemy. Otherwise the jewels are featured regularly as part of her Sailor Fuku.
Moon Frisbee
Japanese: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 34
Re-release: Volume 1, Act 1, Page
Mixx: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 34
Sailormoon uses this attack to destroy enemies- the manga version of "Moon Tiara Action", but unlike the anime this is a legitimate item in the manga, different than the tiara and not an orb of light which is used to attack.
Disguise Pen
Japanese: ?
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
This is used to transform Usagi into whatever she pleases to be. This stick is probably not only a hold over from Code Name wa Sailor V, but also a subtle pun. Moon is often associated with illusion and seeing things, so there fore when she uses it she is creating an illusion, just like the moonlight is professed to do. It's sort of funny, because she never really uses it practically. She uses it to goof off most of the time, making Luna wonder if it was really worth it to give her the pen at all. This pen also has the ability to change into an umbrella to catch her fall (and Tuxedo Kamen's as well).
Moon Tiara 1
Japanese: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 27
Re-release: ?
Mixx: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 27
This item was Sailor Moon's first tiara. It could turn into a Frisbee by turning rapidly. It had the power to vanquish enemies, but it was destroyed when Jadeite was trapped with it (done by Luna with a computer) and Mars killed him with Evil Spirit...Be gone.
Wrist Communicator 1
Japanese: Volume 1, Act 3, Page 86
Re-release: ?
Mixx: Volume 1, Act 3, Page 86
This item comes out of the game machine shortly after Ami is discovered to be Sailor Mercury. It is so that the two of them can keep steady communication.
Moon Tiara 2
Japanese: Volume 1, Act 4, Page 148
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
I think by far this is the nicest tiara in the whole series, not crowns, but tiaras. I think that Takeuchi-sensei was wrestling with the fact that she didn't like the first tiara, but also learned drawing this one was hard work. Instead of at most five lines to draw she had to draw a lot more! It is a really nice tiara though. It can do Moon Twilight Flash!! It was a replacement for the first Tiara and also probably created to tell that she was the leader of the senshi, but if I explain that one, then it will get long and involved.
Sailor Moon's Tiara 3
Japanese: volume 2, Act 8, Page 98
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
This tiara was created from the second tiara and made the second one disappear. This was formed when Sailor Moon was just almost remembering her life as Princess Selenity, but was still confused because Sailor Venus claimed top be the Princess. This one disappeared after Sailor Moon remembered everything completely. It shattered, and was replaced by a crescent moon birthmark.
Moon Stick, Crescent Moon Rod Upgrade
Japanese: Volume 1, Act 5, Page 191
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
It was given originally by Luna and eventually used in upgrade form to defeat Queen Metallia. However it was lost. It could heal people and when Sailor Moon invoked the power of the Maboroshi no Ginzuishou it grew longer and melded with the crystal. For the shinsouban it was completely redesigned.
Moon Locket 1
Japanese: Volume 4, Act 13, Page 36
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
This locket was given by Queen Selenity after the original broach broke. In doing so Queen Serenity wished Usagi for a happy life.
The Moon Rod, The Moon Rod Color
Japanese: ?
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
This is called the Cutie Moon Rod by fans, however the official name according to the official website is the Moon Rod. It was formed from the love of Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon. It's used to do Moon Princess Halation.
Wrist Communicator 2
Japanese: ?
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
This is used to communicate with other people on the team. It's worn like a wristwatch.
Sailor Moon's Tiara 4
Japanese: ?
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
Surprise! Surprise! Yet another tiara obtained by Sailor Moon's second transformation. It appears that this tiara has the same powers as her first tiara. However due to a failed attempt to use Moon Frisbee, she didn't use it again in this capacity. Unlike the tiara before it underneath the tiara there is a moon birthmark that replaces it while it's gone from Sailor Moon's forehead.
The Holy Chalice, The Holy Chalice Color
Japanese: Volume 9, Act 29, Page 52-54
Re-release: ?
Mixx: Volume 9, Act 29, Page ?
The name comes from Artbook III. This is used to upgrade from Sailor Moon's third transformation, to Sailor Moon's Fourth temporary transformation. It is also the sign of the good messiah. Apparently it was modeled on a real chalice that Takeuchi-sensei saw in a book from the Vatican while visiting there. This item uses the combined power of the Soldiers from this system, Venus, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Saturn to temporarily power up.
Spiral Heart Moon Rod
Japanese: Volume 7, Act 23, Page 101
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
This comes in short and long version. It was given by Usagi's future self, Neo-Queen Selenity after Usagi's locket from Queen Serenity broke. This is used primarily in Usagi's third transformation.
Moon Locket 2, Moon Locket 2 Color
Japanese: Volume 7, Act 23, Page 83-84
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
Color image from mangastyle.net. This was given by Neo-Queen Selenity shortly after the defeat of Nemesis when her locket from Queen Selenity broke.
Moon Tiara 5
Japanese: ?
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
The tiara that came with the third transformation. This was given by Neo-Queen Selenity as part of the third transformation. However it never displays any magical powers of its own unlike past tiaras. It looks similar to the previous one.
Moon Tiara 6,color
Japanese: ?
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
Color version from mangastyle.net. The tiara that came with the crisis transformation (we can call that 3.5 transformation). It has a moon in the center of it.
Moon Kaleidoscope
Japanese: Volume 12, Act 34, Page 76
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
This item was acquired soon after meeting with Pegasus. It's possibly the only item on the list (besides it's partner) that was physically bought and not formed completely from magic! (mind you with Mamoru's money!) That might have been Mamoru's smartest buy ever.
Moon Locket 3
Japanese: Volume 12, Act 34, Page 70
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
The locket that came with the fourth transformation. It was given by Pegasus.
Moon Tiara 7,color
Japanese: ?
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
Color version from mangastyle.net. (From Fourth all characters poster). The tiara that came with the fourth transformation. It has a moon in the center of it. This looks almost exactly like the previous tiara... but still it is the seventh one.
(Holy chalice 2)
Japanese: ?
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
This isn't the official name, but the line was "Send our power to the holy chalice!!" which makes me assume it's a Holy Chalice upgrade. This is formed from the combined power of Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Pluto, Uranus, Neptune, the future Moon and even Earth invoking their castles and crystals all into the holy chalice.
(Eternal Tiaru)
Japanese: ?
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
This attack item is used to do Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!!! and later on a second attack. It was formed when Eternal Sailormoon summoned it. (in elongated/powered up form) and was the principle item used to defeat Queen Nehelenia.
Moon Locket 4, Color
Japanese: ?
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
Color version from mangastyle.net. The bow also changes at this time too. It becomes feathers. This locket enables her to become Eternal Sailor Moon.
Moon Birthmark/Moon Tiara 8
Japanese: ?
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
The substitute for the 8th Sailor Moon Tiara.
Moon Prism Power! Make Up!
Japanese: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 26-27
Re-release: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 33-34
Mixx: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 26-27
A cat comes in your room while you were sleeping and suddenly starts to talk, wouldn't you also think it's a dream? Usagi made a big deal of this, and the series was set up already coming up with themes some morals and doing rapid characterization. This transformation is the one that started it all in this series of manga. It is interesting to note that Takeuchi-sensei did come up with a transformation sequence of her own which I will have scanned for you. So you really can't say it's absolutely instantaneous.
Moon Crystal Power! Make Up!
Japanese: Volume 4, Act 13, Page 37
Re-release: Volume 3, Act 14, Page 131
Mixx: Volume 4, Act 13, Page 37
The moon wand was lost and her locket evolved to this one after the previous locket was broken. That means that she doesn't have the previous locket anymore. But she does transform with these words with her new locket with blessing from the Queen. It also incorporates the Silver Crystal for the first time.
Moon Cosmic Power! Make Up!
Japanese: Volume 7, Act 24, Page 146
Re-release: ?
Mixx: Volume 8, Act 25, Page 1
Crisis! Make Up!
Japanese: Volume 9, Act 30, Page 61
Re-release: ?
Mixx: Volume 9, Act 30, Page 63
This is said to call upon the Holy Chalice's powers to turn into Super Sailormoon for the first time in the Infinity arc of the manga.
Moon Crisis! Make Up!
Usagi and Chibiusa together
Japanese: Volume 12, Act 34, Page 70
Re-release: ?
Mixx: SuperS Volume 1, Act 1, Page 68-69
At first Usagi doesn't have the ability to transform like before because not all of the senshi are there to help her transformation (the Outer Senshi are off for the first part of the Dream manga arc, raising Hotaru) but through Usagi and Chibiusa's strong desire to protect their friends and the world, Pegasus gives them the power to transform.
Silver Moon Crystal Power! Make Up!
Japanese: Volume 15, Act 42, Page 94
Re-release: ?
Mixx: SuperS Volume 4, Act 8, Page 87-88
She says this to turn into Eternal Sailor Moon. The first transformation is a combination of ALL the Sailor Crystals in this solar system (minus the senshi from the asteroid belt). I have to say this has to be one of the best scenes in the manga. The golden crystal lends its power to the Silver Moon Crystal. Sailor Chibimoon pitches in her Pink Moon Crystal (an evolved form of the Maboroshi no Ginzuishou) and every Sailor in the solar system all put their faith and power into Sailor Moon making her eternal.. Oh.. I guess it would have cost quite a bit if they did that in the anime. (they did a lower key one). Actually volume 15 has a lot of action and some really neat scenes and layout. It is setting up for the next enemy in the manga and is vital.
Sailor V Kick!
Japanese: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 17
Re-release: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 25
Mixx: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 17
This is Usagi's response when her mother kicks her out for getting a 30 on her exam... it doesn't really work out for her though, it turns out the door is a lot harder than her foot!
(Odango flashes, can see picture through mask)
Japanese: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 27-28
Re-release: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 35-36
Mixx: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 27-28
She can hear Naru's cries for help as well as see her through her mask. It's sort of her radar to see where the trouble is in this first Act.
(Supersonic waves)
Japanese: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 34
Re-release: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 42
Mixx: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 34
When Usagi is overly emotional or upset and she can't fight, her odango jewels do it for her. They create supersonic sound waves that mildly wound her enemy.
Moon Frisbee!
Japanese: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 35
Re-release: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 43
Mixx: Volume 1, Act 1, Page 35
This is the basic first killing move that Sailormoon uses to dispose of a Youma. She uses is several times during the first arc but rarely uses this move after that.
Sailor Moon Kick!
Volume 1, Act 2, Page 70
Re-release: Volume 1, Act 2, Page 78
Mixx: Volume 1, Act 2, Page 70
This is more effective than her Sailor V kick. It actually seems to damage her enemy a little bit.
(Hairpin Feather Attack)
Japanese: Volume 1, Act 2, Page 67
Re-release: ?
Mixx: ?
This is only used once in the series. I don't know if I'd really classify it as an attack especially, it doesn't actually hit her enemy. Still, it looks like it could hurt if aimed for someone specifically.
Moon Twilight Flash
Japanese: Volume 1, Act 4, Page 151
Re-release: Volume 1, Act 4, Page 159
Mixx: Volume 1, Act 4, Page 151
This is the attack that came with her new tiara. It has the ability to kill enemies (both Youma and it is also used against Nephrite to kill him). The jewel of her tiara lets out a blinding flash of energy.
Moon Healing Escalation!
Japanese: Volume 2, Act 7, Page 83
Re-release: Volume 1, Act 6, Page 235
Mixx: Volume 2, Act 6, Page 39
Sailormoon uses this to revive people who have had their energy stolen from them. She channels her wish for the people to get better through the moon stick and it heals them.
Moon Princess Halation!!
Japanese: Volume 4, Act 14, Page 95
Re-release: Volume 3, Act 15, Page 189
Mixx: Volume 4, Act 14, Page 95
This attack is pretty strong. Usagi uses her Moon Rod to perform this attack, which is mostly utilized in the Black Moon arc of the manga.
Moon Spiral Heart Attack!!
Japanese: Volume 8, Act 25, Page 7
Re-release: ?
Mixx: Volume 8, Act 25, Page 9
This attack uses the Spiral Heart Moon Rod to perform it. Sailormoon holds the rod into the air and shouts the attack at her enemies. This is mostly used in the Infinity arc of the manga.
Rainbow Moon Heartache!!
Japanese: Volume 9, Act 30, Page 69
Re-Release: ?
Mixx: Volume 9, Act 30, Page 71
This is Super Sailormoon's first attack and it also uses the Spiral Heart Moon Rod. This is Super Sailormoon's killing attack during the Infinity arc of the manga, while she uses the Holy Chalice to transform into Super Sailormoon.
Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!!!
Japanese: Volume 15, Act 42, Page 100
Re-release: ?
Mixx: SuperS Volume 4, Act 9, Page 100
Eternal Sailormoon uses this attack to destroy Queen Nehelenia when we first glimpse it. It gives a serious powerful beating to those who encounter it, including several of Galaxia's subordinates.
Silver Moon Crystal Power! Therapy Kiss!!
Japanese: Volume 18, Act 50, Page 76
Re-release: ?
Mixx: Stars Volume 3, Act 8, Page 78
Moon Power! Transform me into.Moon Power! Turn me into...
Japanese: Volume 1, Act 2, Page 63
Re-release: Volume 1, Act 2, Page 71
Mixx: Volume 1, Act 2, Page 63
She was given a pen that helped her transform. At the beginning, she didn't use it very well. She has transformed into in order: A stewardess, a princess (joke), a groom (yes, a boy; no words were used, she just shows up this way). a doctor, an Infinity school student, and the director of the Science Board (volume 11). At no times did she actually use the pen well and for its intended purpose. Luna always seemed to regret giving her the pen.
One of Usagi's greatest powers is her heart, because she has such a desire to protect her friends, she fights with the most heart into what she is doing. She can also give power to Mamoru.
Maboroshi no Ginzuishou (Mystical Silver Crystal/Illusion Silver Crystal)
Mixx: Imperial Silver Crystal/Imperium Silver Crystal
It turns out in the manga that this is the cause of the whole mess and trouble, but it also is the crystal that's Usagi's Heart Crystal. When it is destroyed, so is Sailor Moon. It is passed down mother to daughter through the Moon Family line. It solely depends on Sailor Moon's desire and heart. It needs her to guide it. It's powers are astonishing. It can protect a palace, it can heal people it can give strength and has incredible power. The only thing that limits it is the ability of Sailor Moon to control it. It is the most powerful crystal in the Milky Way. None matches it and it is very desirable to the enemy. It was passed down to Small Lady after Small Lady made it appear again. Then it transformed into another crystal! (see Sailor Chibimoon Pink Moon Crystal for details). When Sailor Moon needs its full power it blooms like a flower.
Silver Moon Crystal
This item appears in the anime and it looks exactly as it should look but it's never named. This item in the manga at least looks like an evolved form of the Maboroshi no Ginzuishou (in the anime its just another starseed) [I'm not too sure about it being an evolved form.. but it looks like it]. It's more powerful than the Maboroshi no Ginzuishou.

This is the first communication device used by the senshi. Luna gives it to Usagi after telling her she has already given one each to Ami and Rei. Crescent Moon Rod
Japanese: Episode 25
NA: Episode 21
This item was created by Luna (via her typical flipping in the air method) and was used immediately after it was created at the end of Episode 25 to perform "Moon Healing Escalation". In Episode 26, it was revealed to have more purposes than to channel that attack, by helping the senshi locate Nijizuishou crystal holders (Rainbow Crystal in the dub) by flashing the small jewel on it. Luna stated that the wand shows that Sailormoon is the leader until they find the Princess. The wand also holds a place for the ginzuishou in the crescent and when it was finally found the attack is upgraded to show that.

Maboroshi no Ginzuishou (Mystical Silver Crystal/Illusion Silver Crystal)
Dic: [too many to list.. but I'll give it a try..]
- Imperium Silver Crystal
- Imperium Silver Moon Crystal
- Silver Imperium Crystal
- Imperium Crystal
- Impyrean Silver Crystal
- Silver Impyrean Crystal
- Impyrean Crystal
- Silver Moon Crystal (note: this is a different item in the manga)
- Silver Crystal
- the Silver Crystal (Japanese has no articles in it, so yes this counts)
- That Crystal (by Queen Beryl, but don't you think they are getting lazy?)
- the Crystal (ohh.. really lazy).
Isn't that Dic list lovely.. what's even better is that they use three of those in one episode.. hmm.. couldn't decide. How about Mystical Silver Crystal like it's supposed to be! *surprise*
Anyhoo here's the breakdown for the crystal in the anime. It's round, unlike the manga one. It can and does bloom so it looks like a lily, but it doesn't have a separate name for when it does. It seems like it can be absorbed just like the manga counterpart. It has healing properties and prolongs life just like the manga one. Usagi can also die from the use of it (and make us all cry). The only thing that isn't stated is if the user's interests are in conflict if that will effect the crystal. That would the main major difference besides the appearance.
Teletia S
Heart Moon Brooch
First Appearance: Act 1
This is the brooch Luna gives Usagi so she can transform into Sailormoon. She is given the brooch and the lipstick because of her desire to help Naru.
Lipstick
First Appearance: Act 1
This aids Usagi's transformation into Sailormoon. She is given it at the same time as the Heart Moon Brooch by Luna.
Tiara 1
First Appearance: Act 1
This object sparkles and gives Sailormoon the knowledge of how to fight like a proper soldier in Act 1, and after that it sparkles occasionally when Usagi's 'Soldier Instinct' is invoked. It can also detach to become a boomerang with the "Moon Tiara Boomerang" attack.
Moonlight Stick
First Appearance: Act 1
This is a weapon Usagi uses. It can perform "Moon Healing Escalation" and "Moon Twilight Flash". It is inside of Usagi's brooch when she isn't using it.
Tiara Boomerang
First Appearance: Act 2
This is the tiara on Sailormoon's forehead, except transformed into an attack tool. It is used like this when she attacks with "Moon Tiara Boomerang".
Karaoke Crown Passport
First Appearance: Act 2
Luna gives this to each of the senshi to enter Karaoke Crown (which becomes their headquarters for meetings, etc).
Moon Phase
First Appearance: Act 36
This is a watch that Mamoru purchases for Usagi. She admires it in a store window and he buys it for her as a gift. It is made with a chain so it can be worn like a necklace. It is similar to the watch in the manga that Mamoru leaves with Usagi or the Star Locket from the anime. It helps to remind Usagi of Mamoru when he is taken by the Dark Kingdom.
Princess Harp/Sword
First Appearance: Act 36
This item is the attack item for Princess Sailormoon (Sailormoon while Princess Serenity occupies her body). It is powered by the Ginzuishou. It can be used to heal people or actually plays as a harp. It also has the ability to change into a sword. As a sword it can absorb attacks and throw them back at the enemy.
Moon Prism Power, Make-up!
First Transformation: Act 1
This is the transformation from Usagi to Sailormoon. Like in the manga and anime, she has a difficult start. But unlike those two, by the end of the first episode she has seemed to come to terms with transforming and fighting. She isn't nearly as awkward as in those forms.
(Princess Moon Transformation)
First Transformation: Act 36
This is the transformation from Sailormoon to Princess Sailormoon. Princess Serenity walks through Sailormoon and when she emerges again, Sailormoon is wearing a new fuku. When this is happening, Princess Serenity has taken over Sailormoon's body.
Moon Healing Escalation
First Used: Act 1
This is used by invoking the Moonlight Stick to heal an individual (or several individuals). Often used to heal those manipulated by the Dark Kingdom.
Moon Tiara Boomerang
First Used: Act 2
This isn't usually used as the finishing blow for a youma. Most often it's used as a distraction so that she can use "Moon Twilight Flash" to destroy them.
Moon Twilight Flash
First Used: Act 2
This is a basic killing attack for Youma. It's used with the Moonlight Stick to kill your basic non-possessed Youma.
(Princess Sailormoon's Attack)
First Used: Act 36
This is an extremely strong attack. Here's how it works: the sword can deflect and absorb attacks thrown at Princess Sailormoon. When she's ready to attack, she holds the sword up to create a circular field of energy. She draws a star shape inside the circle, then holds the sword in the center, pushing the attack forward.
(Transforms into a Disguise)
Maboroshi No Ginzuishou
